Finally "some" new trains, announced by DafT via Railway Herald.

Apparently Richard Tulpin is better informed then our respected and generally well informed Captain Deltic who has been so kind for us to count the days since last Rolling Stock order. This week Railway Herald (issue 300 page 11) had the première by announcing that DafT is planning to add a whopping 28.000 "new sets" to the WestCoast.

One might ask if Derby city council is aware of this wonderful news and is planning new residential development to accommodate the workforce required to build the new fleet of trains in it's local train building facility which was till yesterday short of orders.
